Mission
At A Escoliña de Siena, Our mission is to create a space where language learning is an inspiring experience. We encourage natural, communicative and participatory learning, where English and Spanish are learnt through creativity, play and interaction. We want every student, from the youngest to the oldest, to discover the pleasure of communicating with confidence and without fear.
Vision
We aim to consolidate our position as the reference language school in Santiago de Compostela, , recognised for its humane, practical and motivating approach. We believe that learning a foreign language opens minds, connects cultures and improves lives. Our aim is to form a diverse community where learning English or Spanish is a shared adventure.
Our teachers
The teaching staff of A Escoliña de Siena is made up of native and bilingual teachers with extensive international experience. Beyond teaching a language, they inspire each student to overcome their own barriers. Their passion for education makes each class a close, dynamic and memorable experience.

We collaborate with the NGO Abay
By being our student you are helping to make this possible. We have joined the NGO Abay Ethiopia, an organisation that has been working for years in Walmara, Ethiopia, to ensure access to education, health and sustainable development in rural areas. Their work is tireless and very concrete: they build schools, support families, promote girls' access to education, and they do it with a community approach that respects the local culture. and they do it with a community-based approach that respects the local culture.
From A Escoliña de Siena, we have decided to collaborate by sponsoring 10 girls. We want them to be able to learn, play, grow and dream, just as our children do here. Because the right to education should not depend on where you are born. Because we believe that teaching languages can also be a way of speaking the universal language of solidarity.
